Sky Valley Chateau

What a lovely weekend to be a part of. So so beautiful, I felt so fortunate to be able to stay here. Only downside is quiet hours, but that’s more a neighbor issue, not really Sky Valley’s fault.

As a photographer, this was an amazing location for a wedding. I had so much fun spending the day with a wonderful family and capturing photos filled with beautiful fall colors. There were three floors and so many bedrooms that I lost count and outside had plenty of space for a ceremony and reception activities. Just a 3-minute drive back up the hill are a few overlooks that are definitely worth getting pictures of.

Best place ever in Steamboat, Colorado! This is my second time staying here, and I absolutely love it. The house has a very unique design with an amazing vibe and energy. The owners are incredibly kind and always helpful with anything you need. It’s also very convenient — just a short drive to town and the mountain. The best part of the house is the hot jacuzzi. It makes the whole experience even more special! Highly recommended!

Our family of 24 had a family reunion here August 2021 and everything was absolutely fabulous! Our host David was very friendly and always available when needed. It's clear he loves the area and his lodge. Everything was wonderful, from the location (beautiful aspen and pine forest), proximity to town and hiking, amenities (HUGE hot tub was a definite hit, well stocked newly upgraded kitchen) cleanliness, and ability to comfortably house 24 people ages from 12-82. Great experience for everyone - highly recommend!

This is a 10 Bedroom 11 Bathroom chalet managed by on premise hosts that are very accommodating and helpful. We went just after Christmas and stayed until January 2nd. They were very thoughtful and plowing the roads so that we could get in and out of our parking spots. The house is very well maintained and affords a beautiful view of the area. Our kids were able to play by creating a snow slope for the tubes and sleds behind the house. There is a very large cafeteria style eating area downstairs that accommodated all of our 20 adults and kids for family gatherings. We were able to grill and cook in the very large institutional size kitchen in the same area for everyone at the same time. Two eating areas provide enough room for people to be separated if needed. Many breakout areas for kids and adults to play and ensures you're not on top of each other but still are close enough to enjoy each other's company. While the center of town is about 8 mi away the views and seclusion afforded by this wonderful house are by far worth the short trip into the city.

I'm an elopement and intimate wedding photographer and what a privilege is was to shoot at Sky Valley Chateau for my first time out to Steamboat Springs! It is the PERFECT venue for a small intimate wedding and for the full weekend of festivities my couple wanted! Will definitely be recommending this place to clients in the future looking for a place for all their friends and family to stay during their wedding weekend!

We enjoyed a beautiful winter stay at this gorgeous chateau! Outside is a true winter wonderland while inside is a cozy retreat. Accommodations are first class. Gorgeous kitchen with Viking appliances, super comfortable bedrooms and multiple warm and inviting seating areas to kick back, relax and take in the views out of the giant picture windows. Owners were so welcoming and kind. We can’t say enough good things! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful all in one package! We stayed at Sky Valley for 4 nights and hosted a 48 guest outdoor wedding event this October. We were able to sleep 30 guests at Sky Valley Chateau and eveyone had made a positive comment on size, accommodations and beauty! We were able to have our dream mountain/ski town wedding! Check in, check out and our stay was easy. The Chateau is close to town for any of our guests that wanted to venture downtown or hike. Thank you to Erica and David for providing such a magical place!
